The Supportive Services for Veterans and Families (SSVF) is an exclusive program dedication to veterans and their families. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support to veterans facing homelessness or at imminent risk of losing housing, empowering them to achieve stability and thrive.
Upon enrollment in SSVF, veterans and their families receive personalized case management aimed at promoting housing stabilization and preventing future episodes of homelessness. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to address each client’s unique needs and challenges, fostering a path towards sustainable housing and self-sufficiency.
To be eligible for SSVF, clients must meet specific criteria:
Currently homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness.
Have served in the armed forces and completed basic training.
Possess any discharge status, except dishonorable.
Meet the 80% Average Monthly Income (AMI) limit for their household size.
Our array of services is tailored to meet the diverse needs of our veteran clients and includes:
Housing assistance to secure stable and affordable housing.
Comprehensive case management to address barriers and set achievable goals.
Transportation assistance to facilitate access to essential services.
Referrals to community agencies for employment, education, childcare, food assistance, and life skills development such as budgeting and credit counseling.
